The transaction, structured as an all-stock agreement, focuses on bringing Convogo’s founding team into OpenAI rather than acquiring the company’s products or technology.

Convogo, co-founded by Matt Cooper, Evan Cater, and Mike Gillett, created a platform that automated leadership assessments and feedback reporting for executive coaches and HR professionals. Their tools helped thousands of coaches worldwide reduce manual report writing and administrative tasks over the past two years.
